Supplying Your Artwork Files

Sending The Correct File Format

It's important to send the correct artwork format to achieve the perfect print finish. The list below is a guide to help you setup your artwork.

  • Supply in one of the following formats .ai, .eps, or .svg

  • Make sure to convert or supply any fonts you have used.

  • Pantone colours to be displayed if required.

  • To help us position your artwork currently, please send your files to the true size required.

  • Things to avoid.

  • We are unable to work with the following file formats, .jpeg, .png, or .bmp files.

  • We can not work from photos or scans. A re-draw would be required (chargeable service).

PRINT COLOURS

When ink printing, we will require a Pantone number reference either as a coated or uncoated finish to match your required colour correctly. If you have a foil print or a digital print, we will advise the nearest available colour. Please be aware we can not work with artwork set in RGB or CMYK colours. Screens and monitors display colours differently, please refer to a hard copy Pantone book for a true reference. If you are not sure of the colour, but have had something previously printed by another supplier, please post us a copy and we will try our best to colour match for you.

FONTS

There are 1000's of different fonts available in various styles. It's important when you send your artwork to convert all the text to 'Paths', or supply the font separately for us to install and use. Certain font styles might not work or display correctly on certain products or colours. If this is the case, one of our team will contact you to discuss alternative fonts that can be used.

LOGO SIZE

Please supply your artwork in the correct size, or advise the size you would like it. We will supply a PDF visual proof before printing for you to approve. If the size is not advise, we will set your artwork in what we believe to be an average print coverage. Any more than two visual adjustments would be chargeable.
